I became very intrigued with hair at a young age, braiding everyone’s hair on my softball and volleyball teams growing up. When I became a sophomore I chose human services as a major at Burleson High School and fell in love with it all!!! So I accomplished three full years of cosmetology in high school and graduated with a license in hand at the age of 17. Avanté has been my home since 2006 and “hair” has been my career since 2001.

I have worked with many color lines, but have had advanced training with Majirel and Dia Richesse and Dia Light. Most importantly I have had in depth training and experience in a product I am so passionate about….KERASTASE. Becoming an educator of Kerastase has made me realize how very important it is to use the most advanced technology and best products available to achieve the right look for you. I also love cutting and styling curly hair. Other accomplishments are being the first stylist/educator invited to become part owner of Avanté Salon and Day Spa. With that said, I became a partner as of April 2013 and I am thrilled!

Outside of work I Iove to be on the lake with my son on our boat. I love to workout, do yard work, watch my nieces and nephews play sports and just be with family as much as possible!

Hair is something I know well and love more. My Avanté Team and family means the world to me and my Coaches push me to be better everyday and work is my escape! My goal each day is to LISTEN to my guests and their wants with their style! They always have to leave feeling & looking their very best!
